Southmoreland’s Maggie Moore, playing this summer for the Western PA Bruins AAU program, announced on Friday, July 13 that she had received an offer to play at the Naval Academy. The 6’2″ forward/center posted her verbal commitment to the Midshipmen on Twitter.
Moore averaged a double-double last season with 11.1 points and 12.4 rebounds per game. She had 17 double-digit rebound games, with a career-high 23 against Freeport, and added 22-point, 19-rebound performance against Laurel Highlands.
